The Climb I Keep Promising Myself: Mount Fuji
Everyone's got that one item on the bucket list that stays there a little too long. For me, it's climbing Mount Fuji. It's not the most technical climb in the world — that's part of what makes it perfect. It's achievable. I just keep letting life get in the way, and one of these seasons I'm going to finally book it and go.
In the meantime, most of my traveling pulls me toward Europe. I don't totally know how to explain it, but I feel weirdly at home there. I love just wandering — no strict plan, following a street because it looks interesting, ending up somewhere I never would have found otherwise. The cities have a rhythm I never get tired of.
Fuji is the big someday goal, and Europe is the place I keep coming back to. Both scratch the same itch, really: getting out, seeing something new, and coming home with a story.
